Teledyne Wins $17.6M Contract
Thousand Oaks-based Teledyne Technologies Incorporate said Tuesday that one of its subsidiaries, Teledyne Energy Systems, has scored a $17.6M contract from the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL). Teledyne said the contract is for a technology transfer and flight hardware upgrade program. The contract covers turning a lab-scale thermoelectric material production process into flight-ready materials and components. That technology was developed for the Mars Curiosity rover and its MMRTG (Multi Mission Radioisotope Thermoelectric Generator) .
