TenOneTen Ventures Backs Probably Genetic

Los Angeles-based venture investor TenOneTen Ventures is one of the investors in a newly launched startup, which is looking to use artificial intelligence and DNA testing to identify autism and other medical conditions. According to Probably Genetic, it has raised a round of venture capital funding from Khosla Ventures, TenOneTen Ventures, the Oxford Angel FUnd, as well as angels. The startup recently graduated from Y Combinator, and is based in the Bay Area. Size of the investment round was not announced. Probably Genetic says it is using machine learning and direct-to-consumer DNA testing to help identify early diagnoses of autism. The company's CEO and co-founder is Lukas Lange. TenOneTen Ventures was founded by David Waxman and Gil Elbaz, early pioneers in Southern California's technology industry. TenOneTen recently added Minnie Ingersoll, one of the co-founders of car marketplace Shift, as a Partner at the firm.
