TenOnTen Ventures Gets $13.18M In New Venture Fund
Los Angeles-based TenOnTen Ventures, the venture capital investor founded by David Waxman and Gil Elbaz, has found $13.18M in commitments for a new venture fund, from 21 different investors, according to a regulatory filing by the fund. Details on the new fund--which is still in the midst of fundraising--have not yet been announced by the investment firm. According to the filing, the fund is now targeting to raise $20M in TenOneTen Ventures, L.P., in an effort which was started back in August of last year. Waxman and Elbaz are both longtime Los Angeles startup executives; Waxman was the founder of Firefly, PeoplePC, and Spotrunner; Elbaz was the founder of Applied Semantics, and is now CEO of Factual.
