Topanga.io Gets Win At Grubhub
Los Angeles-based Topanga.io, a startup developing packaging track-and-trace technology, has scored a win with food ordering and delivery company Grubhub. According to Grubhub, it has partnered with Topanga.io to provide "integrated zero-waste takeout services" on college campuses across the United States, via Topanga.io. Grubhub said meals at college campuses--initially, just The Ohio State University and Colorado State University--will be packaged in reusable containers, using Topanga.io's technology. That technology lets diners on campus keep track of what containers they have and what they need to return. Topang.io was founded by Page Schult, Adam Bailey, and Max Olshanksy and founding team members Hayley Bance and Wesley Jin. The company supports both tracking of QR codes and RFID tags.
