Upfront's Suster Backs Density
Mark Suster of Upfront Ventures is the lead investor in a new startup, developing hardware devices to count people and track their movement in a room. According to Suster, he led a $4M funding round in Density, a developer of devices which use computer vision to help count the number of people in room or passing through a doorway. The funding round also included Jason Calacanis and Jonathan Triest of Ludlow Ventures. Density is based in San Francisco. More information »
