uSamp Names CFO, Promotes VPs
Encino-based uSamp, the online panel and survey firm headed by Matt Dusig and Gregg Lavin, said today that it has named a new CFO and promoted two new execs. The firm--citing "record" growth during the year--said it has named John Woolard as Chief Financial Officer, and promoted Dave Gaston to Regional Vice President of Survey Solutions, and Melanie Courtright to Senior Vice President of Client Services.
The company said Woolard has served for 20 years in CFO, VP of Finance and Controllership positions. Woolard's LinkedIn profile shows him serving in a string of consulting CFO positions with DLC Projects, including for MGA Entertainment, Altra Biofuels, Buzznet, OleOle, Dreamworks, and others. Gaston has been at uSamp since 2009, and previously was at Greenfield Online, Yankelovich Partners, and NFO. Courtright was previously at DMS, which uSamp acquired in June.
uSamp said the moves are part of record growth and expansion of the firm, as the company has expanded to 145 members of its team worldwide. The company explained it has recently doubled the size of its sales force due to the growth it has been seeing.
