Userplane Adds Rev Share Program
Los Angeles-based Userplane, a provider of online instant messaging and other social networking tools, said Tuesday that the firm has rolled out a new ad revenue sharing program. The new program offsets licensing fees for the firm's products with ad revenue sharing. Userplane said that PlentyofFish, an online dating web site, is the first site to take advantage of its program. The revenue share program is based on text-based ads within the firm's private label chat and instant messaging tools. Userplane is a wholly owned subsidiary of AOL.
