ViaSat Wins Military Cybersecurity Contract

Carlsbad-based satellite communications and broadband services provider ViaSat reports this morning that it has been awarded a new, cybersecurity software contract, with the U.S.government. According to the company, it was a production contract to provide ViaSat Mobile Dynamic Defense (MDD) cybersecurity software to protect and secure TACLAN field computing devices. Financial details of the win were not announced. ViaSat says it is working with systems integrator iGov on the contract.
