ViewSonic Donates $500,000 Towards Youth, Education Efforts
Brea, California-based display giant ViewSonic says it has donated $500,000 in products to help youth and education efforts, as part of an expansion of the cmpany's corporate and social responsibility efforts. According to ViewSonic, it donated the $500,000 in products through a partnership with the Orange County United Way, which will go towards underserved schools. ViewSonic said the products will go to STEM/STEAM labs, SCALE-UP classrooms, robotics workshops and eSport clubs. The first donation from the ViewSonic program went to Los Amigos High School and Santiago High School in the Garden Grove Unified School District. ViewSonic is a major manufacturer of computer and other displays.
