Viper Connects Your Car With Apple Watch, Android Wear
Have you ever wished you could make your car--yes, your car--a smartphone-connected, smart device? A local company has just rolled out a new product which lets you start, lock, unlock, and track your car from your Android Wear or Apple Watch. Automotive accessory firm Viper, which is based in Vista, said today that it is rolling out a new set of apps for Android Wear and Apple Watch, which will do exactly that. The company says it actually has been shipping smartphone apps and associated hardware for the last few years to let users remotely start and track their vehicles. The company's hardware uses GSM cell phone networks to communicate directly with a user's car.
