VIZIO Taps Former Best Buy Exec For Board

Irvine-based VIZIO said today that it has named R. Michael (Mike) Mohan, the former President and COO of Best Buy Co., to its board of directors. VIZIO--best known for its line of connected televisions--said that Mohan was previously responsible for all aspects of global operations, including sales, merchandising, marketing, supply chain management, services, and new business initiatives across more than 1,400 stores and online channels worldwide at Best Buy, which he joined in 2004. He is also on the boards of Bloomin' Brands, Petco, and Jackon Family Wine.
