VMIX Taps Akamai For HD Video

San Diego-based VMIX, a developer of an online video management platform, said today that it has extended a deal with content delivery network provider Akamai, to use Akamai's HD video services. Financial details of the deal were not disclosed. As part of the effort, VMIX said it will be showing HTML5 video support for iPad and other non-Flash devices at NAB this week.
