WeWork Advances Four LA Teams To Creator Awards

Coworking space operator WeWork says that four LA entrepreneurs are advancing as finalists in its WeWork Creator Awards, with a chance to win $1.5M in funding at an event next week. According to WeWork, LA-based Swipe Out Hunger, LeVar Burton Kids, Nouvella, and Jae Jin Music will compete against twenty nine total finalists to win funding for their ideas at an event in New York on November 16th. Swipe Out Hunger partners with colleges nationwide to end college student hunger; LeVar Burton Kids aims at at promoting critical thinking and inspiring kids curiosity through STEM, diversity, equality, and social-emotional topics; Nouvella is an independent publisher dedicated to nouvellas; and Jae Jin Music is a global recording music artist.
