Xirrus Wins Michigan University
Thousand Oaks-based Xirrus, a developer of Wi-Fi networking devices which provide higher bandwidth and coverage than standard Wi-Fi access points, reported this week that it has deployed its Wi-Fi arrays at Lawrence Technological University in Southfield, Michigan. Financial impact of the win was not disclosed. The firm said it will provide coverage throughout the University's campus, covering 11 buildings and supporting 4,300 students. The win at the university is the latest in a long string of educational wins for Xirrus.
