Kim Kardashian Launches LA's Newest Celebrity Driven Investment Firm

In the long tradition of Los Angeles area celebrities launching themselves into venture capital and private equity, Kim Kardashian has launched a new, private equity firm, alongside a private equity investor, Jay Sammons. According to the new private equity firm, SKKY Partners, it will invest in "large scale consumer and media businesses", leveraging "Kardashian's global reach and unrivaled social influence". According to the new venture capital firm, it is targeting investments in consumer products, digital & e-commerce, consumer media & entertainment, hospitality and luxury. Kim Kardashian and Jay Sammons are the co-Founders and Co-Managing Partners of the new investment firm, with Kris Jenner serving as Partner. The new firm did not say how much capital it is managing with the new fund, and if the limited partners in the fund are Kardashian's personal capital, or from others.
