Rivian Signs Tesla Charger Deal

Irvine-based Rivian announced a deal this morning, where the company's vehicles will have access to more than 12,000 Tesla Superchargers across the US and Canada, starting in 2024. According to Rivian, its R1T and R1S vehicles will be able to access Tesla's network with the use of a soon to be released adapter, which it expects to make available as early as Spring of 2024. The company also said it will use the Tesla-style NACS charge ports on its future R1 vehicles in 2025, and its upcoming R2 platform. Financial details of the deal were not announced.
