Los Angeles-based Total Immersion, the developer of augmented reality software which allows computer images to interact with live video, said today that it has added a certified value added reseller to its partner network. The firm said it has added Augmented CPG, based in Montreal, to its network. Augmented CPG focuses on consumer packaged goods, and applies augmented reality to B2B customers. Total Immersion said the addition is part of a strategic program to recruit partners in various vertical markets throughout North America. Total Immersion's software has been used by brands such as McDonalds and Nike as parts of promotions, where interactive 3D graphics interact with live video streams of users. The firm--which was started in France--relocated its headquarters to Los Angeles in 2008 to be closer to its customers. The firm is headed by Bruno Uzzan.
