Zefr Acquires Adverif.ai

Los Angeles-based Zefr announced today that it has acquired an Israeli company, Adverif.ai, which develops artificial intelligence software for identifying misinformation. According to Zefr, Adverif.ai's "fact-checking engine" integrates with over 50 fact-checking organizations around the world to train dynamic machine learning algorithms to identify, label, and measure misinformation at rapid speed. Financial terms of the acquisition were not announced. Zefr said AdVerif.ai's team will join the company, and will be based out of Tel Aviv. The team will be led by Adverif.ai's founder and CEO, Or Levi.
