At The Pool Courts Millennials With New Social Discovery App
Los Angeles-based At The Pool, the social discovery service headed by Alex Capecelatro, has launched a brand new, mobile app it says is targeted at helping people to connect and interact. The startup said the new app was "built by millennials for millennials", and reinvents the way people connect and interact with one another. According to the startup, the new app lets users with like interests connect through things called "shouts", linking users up in real life based on geography and interests. Capecelatro--who is 25--said that eight five percent of At The Pool's members are under the age of thirty five. At The Pool is venture backed by Clearstone Venture Partners, Canyon Creek Capital, and angels.
