BUZZMEDIA Partners With Photo Sharing Site Plixi

Hollywood-based BUZZMEDIA, the online publisher of entertainment focused blogs and web sites, said today that it has linked with photo sharing site Plixi, which until recently was known as TweetPhoto. According to the two, they are in an exclusive, multi-year partnership where they will create content offerings, marketing programs and branded entertainment campaigns. Financial details of the effort were not announced.

The two said the joint efforts including publishing entertainment news stories and content from Celebuzz.com alongside photos on Plixi's site. The two also said they will provide a set of "VIP Photo Sharing" tools to celebrities such as Kim Kardashian, which will allow them to share photos via Twitter, Facebook, and their own official websites. BUZZMEDIA's online site include Buzznet, Celebuzz, Stereogum, TheSuperficial, Absolute Punk, JustJared, WWTDD, GoFugYourself, SocialiteLife, Idolator; the company also runs the official celebrity web sites of Britney Spears, Kim Kardashian, Nicole Richie, and others.
