Disney Freezes Hiring

In a move which likely reflects issues with with the streaming content market, frozen hiring, saying it it looking to reach profitability for Disney+ in fiscal 2024. The hiring freeze comes on top of economic headwinds. Amazon--which has a sizeable presence in Southern California--also said today that it plans to cut 10,000 employees, starting this week.
