Epirus Gets $5.3M From DARPA

Los Angeles-based Epirus, which develops power management circuitry, reports that it has received DARPA contracts worth up to $5.3M. The company said it was selected by the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency's (DARPA) Massive Cross-Correlation (MAX) program, with Epirus and the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) sharing up to $5.3M in total across four project phases. Epirus said it is working with UCLA to develop "highly scalable analog circuit techniques to increase power efficiency". Epirus is led by CEO Ken Bedingfield.
