EVgo, GM Link To Expand EV Fast Charger Network
Los Angeles-based electric vehicle charging network operator EVgo has inked a deal with General Motors, to build out its network of electric vehicle (EV) fast chargers, the two said late last week. According to the two companies, they will build more than 2,700 new fast chargers over the next five years over the United States. The move will triple EVgo's network of fast chargers. Financial details of the deal were not announced. The two are targeting 40 urban markets for the fast charger buildout.
