EVgo Picks Up Charger Installation Pace
Los Angeles-based EVgo, which operates a public network of electric vehicle (EV) fast charging stations, says it is increasing the pace of its installations. According to the company, it just installed 10 new EV fast charging stations in the last 10 days, across new locations in California, Florida, Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia, Washington and the District of Columbia. The company said those 10 stations represent 38 fast charging stalls. EVgo has been expanding its network of fast charging stations nationwide as electric vehicle adoption has increased nationwide. The company says it currently has more than 800 fast charging locations in 65 metro areas across 34 states, each powered by 100% renewable electricity.
