Geosemble Technologies Nabs Investment From In-Q-Tel
El Segundo-based Geosemble Technologies, a developer of geospatial data integration and mapping software, said today that it has received a strategic investment from In-Q-Tel, the venture capital arm of the CIA. Size of the investment was not disclosed. According to Geosemble, it will use the funding to expand development of its geospatial data integration and layering technology. Geosemble's products are used to automatically integrate maps, aerial imagery, news, data, business information and more into geospatial systems. The firm said it serves both the government as well as commercial markets. The firm is a spinout of the University of Southern California.
