Green Hills Adds UML Support
Santa Barbara-based Green Hills said this morning that it is adding object-oriented UML (Unified Modeling Language) support to its embedded software environment. The company said that it is adding the I-Logix Rhapsody environment with Green Hill's MULTI development environment. I-Logix provides software for requirements specification, UML modeling, and implementation of software. Green Hills and I-Logix will integrate interoperability between the two tools, and said they would collaborate on future integrated features and capabilities. Softare developers use UML to specify object-oriented software, and implement software functionality and communications between components.
