Guidance Software Takes On Mobile Devices
Pasadena-based Guidance Software announced earlier this week that it has rolled out a new software package for forensic analysis of mobile phones and other mobile devices. The firm said that its new Neutrino mobile acquisition product combines a wireless signal blocking device to allow investigators to extract data from a variety of mobile devices. The new product integrates with the company's existing software, EnCase, which is used by law enforcement and others for analyzing digital evidience. Guidance Software's products are used by government, corporate, and law enforcement organizations as part of lawsuits, compliance, and legal discovery efforts.
