HelloTech Launches Service To Wean Your Parents Off Your Tech Support
Tired of being the tech support person for your parents? Los Angeles-based HelloTech.com, a provider of in-home technical support and sales help, said Tuesday that it has launched a brand new site to help people purchase home technology services and products for their parents. The new site, BuyYourParents.com, is aimed at adult children and caregivers with "Boomer" parents, offloading the training and support needed to help get technology products installed. HelloTech--led by technology veteran Richard Wolpert--uses vetted and trained college students as technicians to help the older generation with their technology issues and installation. The company currently only operates in Los Angeles, but said it plans to expand beyond the market later this year.
