Kurion Expands Board
Irvine-based Kurion, the venture backed provider of nuclear and hazardous waste cleanup technology, said today that it has named two new board members. Kurion said it had added D. Michael Steuert and Fred Kittler to the board. Steuert was most recently Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Fluor Industries, and also has served at Litton Industries, GenCorp, and TRW. Kittler is at venture investment firm Firelake Capital Management, one of the firm's investors. Kurion develops a range of nuclear and hazardous waste management technologies, and is currently applying its technology to the cleanup of Fukushima.
