Mitsubishi Chemical To Invest $6M In UCSB
The University of California, Santa Barbara and Mitsubishi Chemical Corporation of Tokyo have just announced that Mitsubishi Chemical will invest $6M in the school, as part of an extension of a materials research and education alliance. The funding will go towards the Mitsubishi Chemical Center for Advanced Materials (MC-CAM) at UCSB, which was established in 2001. The $6M will be spread over four years. Mitsubishi Chemical is the largest chemical company in Japan.
