Mobile Roadie Hits The iPad
Beverly Hills-based Mobile Roadie, the developer of tools which make it easy for artists and brands to create their own mobile apps, said today that it has launched a new native iPad app platform, along with a self-service mobile website product. Mobile Roadie, which is headed by Michael Schneider, develops software has been popular with both brands and celebrities for powering their mobile apps on iPhone and Android. The company said its new iPad app platform allows users to create their own apps for the iPad platform including support for dynamic feeds of streaming content, scrolling slideshows, and ability to sync with iPhone apps, Android apps, and mobile websites. The new iPad service costs $499 per month or $4,999 per year. The new mobile website product costs $9 per month or $99 per year. Mobile Roadie powers apps for the San Diego Zoo, Madonna, Adele, Taylor Swift, Cristiano Ronaldo, Cirque du Soleil, Marvel Comics, the Staples Center, and many others. The company is angel backed by Mike Jones, at Science Inc, Ashton Kutcher, and Guy Oseary, among others.
