Thursday, June 13, 2024GITAI Selected For NASA SBIRTorrance-based space robotics startup GITAI USA said it has been selected for a NASA Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) Phase 1 program. According to the company, it has been selected for a project, titled "Assembly and Outfitting of Tall Truss-Based Power Towers", which it says is aimed at building tall truss-based towers on the Moon using autonomous lunar robots. Financial impact of the win was not announced.
