Riot Pays $10M To Settle Discrimination Lawsuit
Los Angeles-based videogame developer Riot Games has agreed to pay at least $10M to settle a gender discrimination, class action lawsuit, which had been filed in November of 2018. According to the LA Times, court documents show that there are approximately 1,000 women who worked for Riot since November of 2014 who are part of that class action lawsuit, who will be entitled to a payment from the $10M settlement. Riot Games had already announced it had reached the settlement in August, but had not detailed the financial arrangement of that settlment.
