SEKUR.me Rolls Fingerprint Payment App
Santa Ana-based SEKUR.me, the electronic payments startup led by Jack Bicer, said this morning that it has integrated the Apple Touch ID and Samsung's fingerprint recognition features into its mobile, online payment app. SEKUR.me said it software now lets shoppers purchase items--using their fingerprint--instead of entering checkout forms or credit card numbers on e-commerce sites. SEKUR.me is aiming at reducing consumer friction in e-commerce payments, by allowing users to use their fingerprint rather than enter dozens of bits of payment information via their smartphone.
