Sensydia Gets $3M In NIH Grant

Los Angeles-based Sensydia, a company working on non-invasive cardiac diagnostics, said this morning that it has received $3M in a NIH grant. According to the company, the funding came in the form of a Fast-Track Small Business grant from the National Heart, Lung, and Blood Institute (NHLBI), part of the National Institutes of Health (NIH). The company is working on artificial intelligence (AI) driven cardiac assessment. The company said the NIH grant is split between $600,000 for Phase I, and $2.4M for Phase II, following successful completion of Phase I milestones.
