Neuropore Therapies Gets Grant From Michael J. Fox Foundation
San Diego-based Neuropore, a biopharmaceuticals firm developing treatments for Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, and other neurodegenerative disorders, has scored a grant from the The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research (MJFF). Size of the grant was not announced. The company said the grant will go towards supporting its Toll-Like Receptor 2 (TLR2) antagonist program focused on modulating neuroinflammation and autophagy in Parkinson's disease and other neurodegenerative diseases.
