SpectraSensors Raises $14M
Rancho Cucamonga-based SpectraSensors, a firm that manufactures optical gas analyzers for the natural gas and energy market, said Friday that it has raised $14M in a Series C round of funding. The funding was led by Nomura's New Energy & Clean Technology Ventures. Other investors in the round included current investors American River Ventures, Blueprint Ventures, Nth Power, and new investors CTTV Investments, Chevron's venture capital arm. The funding will go towards accelerating the growth of the firm. SpectraSensors is a spinoff of NASA's Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL). More information »
