The Language Express Gets SBIR Grant
Encinitas-based The Language Express, which develops web-based, educational software, said Thursday that it has received a Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) grant from the National Science Foundation. The SBIR Phase I award will go towards developing digital content, to help educate and prepare young adults for their future in the workforce and everyday life. Size of the grant was not announced by the company. The Language Express is developing software to help children with ADHD, Autism, and Asperger's. The company is led by Marc Zimmerman.
