University of California, Riverside Launches Free Online Courses

The University of California, Riverside Extension (UCRX) said this morning that it is launching a number of free, massive open online courses (MOOCs). The free courses include a mental health and well being course, a course on Arabic for business, and English-Spanish language interpretation and translation. UCR is tapping software from 2U, Inc., to run the courses. 2U has offices in Los Angeles.
