Virgin America Adds Free Access to Lynda.com, Sets ViaSet WiFi Pricing
Virgin America said this morning that it will be offering up free access to Lynda.com, the professional learning and content site run out of Goleta--and now owned by LinkedIn--as part of a wide rollout of high speed, Wi-Fi access from Carlsbad-based ViaSat. Virgin America, which has been in early trials on the new high speed, satellite WiFi from ViaSat since July of last year, said it will also offer up free WiFi access for its Elevate Gold members, and pricing starting at $4.99 for short haul flights (ie LAX to SFO) for users.
