WD Ups External Drive Capacity
Lake Forest-based WD, a manufacturer of hard drives, said this week that it has shipped a new, 2 TB external hard drive. The firm said the new product is the largest available capacity for a single-drive system on the market. The new product is an expansion to the firm's My Book family of hard drives, which the firm markets to PC and Mac home users. The drives area vailable in USB, eSATA, and FireWire interfaces and start at $329.99.
