XCOR Aerospace Raises $14.2M
Mojave-based commercial spaceflight developer XCOR Aerospace has raised $14.2M, part of an ongoing $20.0M funding round for the company, according to a regulatory filing from the company. The equity funding has not yet been announced by the company. XCOR has previously raised funding from Silicon Valley angels Esther Dyson, Pete Ricketts (co-owner of the Chicago Cubs), and Stephen Fleming (ATV Partners). XCOR is in the process of developing a sub-orbital launch vehicle aimed at space tourism, but has yet to successfully launch its vehicles into space. More information »
