Irvine-based Vangard Voice Systems, a developer of software for voice-enabling enterprise applications, announced today that it has scored a subcontract to voice enable warehouse applications used by the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). Financial details of the one year contract were not disclosed by Vangard, however, a federal contract filing has the contract valued at $230,856.26. According to the firm, the prime contract went to McLane Advanced Technologies, LLC. The DLA provides logistics, acquisition, and other serviecs to the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps and others.
