Kurion Names Chairman
Irvine-based Kurion, the venture-backed developer of nuclear and hazardous waste disposal technology, said this morning that it has named Ralph DiSibio as its Chairman of the board. DiSibio was most recently at Washington Energy & Environment, a firm involved in nuclear waste treatment and isolation. He has also served at Parsons Power and Westinghouse Electric Company, among other companies. DiSibio replaces Josh Wolfe of Lux Capital, who remains a director. Kurion's water purification and nuclear waste removal technology is being used at the Fukushima nuclear plant in Japan.
