Solaren Gets $600K For Space Power

Manhattan Beach-based Solaren, a firm developing space-based power systems, has raised $609,600 in a equity funding round, according to a regulatory filing from the firm earlier this month. Source of the funding was not disclosed. The firm is reportedly working on launching solar panels into space, and then beaming back that energy to earth using high powered radio waves.
