Startup Proposes Nuclear-Powered Carbon Offsets For Fashion
A Los Angeles-based startup, Global Nuclear Concepts said this morning that it is proposing to "decarbonize" fashion manufacturing, by providing carbon emissions offsets by deploying theoretical "micro-nuclear reactors" at clothing factories. The company was founded by Rickey Ruff. It's unclear how soon--if ever--"micro-nuclear reactors" might be deployed anywhere in the world. The technology has long been in development, but has yet to see any approvals or deployment.
